Q. Is ventilation required when using incense?
A. Incense releases fragrance by burning aromatic wood. Adequate ventilation is recommended during burning to allow smoke to disperse, so you may enjoy its soft lingering scent afterwards.
Q. Does incense have an expiry date?
A. There is no fixed expiry or shelf‑life; it can be used long‑term. Store properly inside the dry tin can, away from moisture, direct sunlight and heat sources, and the incense sticks will keep well for a long time.
Q. Will incense leave residual odors after burning?
A. Collins incense sticks are made by evenly coating aromatic wood powder onto a white‑wood core. Compared with raw‑wood smudge sticks, they deliver milder fragrance and produce less smoke. No lingering odor will be left if the burning tip does not touch any objects and you use a well‑ventilated incense holder.
Q. Can it be used in households with pets?
A. Collins incense sticks are made from natural ingredients. They have passed official safety verification for indoor burning‑type home fragrances, marked with the “Safety Standard Confirmed” label and registration number.
It may be used at home if your pets are not sensitive to scented products. However, some pets can have high sensitivity. We recommend using it with sufficient ventilation. Let the space air out once burning is complete before letting your pets enjoy the ambient scent.
